Key ResponsibilitiesRequest and route components from the warehouse to specific production cells, assembly stations, or technicians based on production needsManage work order releases, completions, and material transactions to ensure materials are available when neededUse ERP/MRP systems to monitor shop floor orders, update job statuses, and track inventory movementUpdate production dates and order information in Visual ERP and Excel status sheets to maintain accurate recordsWalk the production floor regularly to identify delayed assemblies, missing parts, or equipment issuesCoordinate with procurement, engineering, and other departments to resolve issues and keep production movingCommunicate with production, planning, inventory, engineering, and shipping/receiving teams to coordinate production activitiesShare updates and address material or scheduling issues to help keep production timelines on trackExperience and QualificationsHigh school diploma is required, while an associate's degree is preferredAt least two years of experience in distribution, inventory management, or a related fieldStrong math and analytical skills with the ability to accurately analyze inventory and production informationProficiency with spreadsheet software, inventory management systems, and accounting applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamWhy Join Us?
