The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of purchasing tasks and other clerical functions to support production schedule. Contacting vendors over the phone and email to process purchase requisitions, request quotes, coordinating and monitoring schedules with vendors.

Looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Purchasing Expeditor.  This position is full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00-4:00PM. Will train for the right candidate.The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of purchasing tasks and other clerical functions to support production schedule.<ul><li>Contacting vendors over the phone and email to process purchase requisitions, request quotes, coordinating and monitoring schedules with vendors</li><li>Generating Purchase orders from ERP demand requirements and purchase requisitions</li><li>Update Purchase materials Standard Costs</li><li>Reconcile discrepancies with Receiving department</li><li>Create Production Jobs and Documentation to support customer orders</li><li>Reconcile completed jobs for inventory and quantity variances</li><li>Assist Production planner in scheduling and expediting selected part numbers or product lines in manufacturing and related vendors</li><li>Other related activities</li></ul>

• Follows assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
• Ensures that proper food temperatures are maintained, and items are accurately delivered.
• Responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product.
• Handles and cleans kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
• Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Leads the food runners and coordinates accurate delivery of orders.Pay Rate: $20 per hourQualifications• Great organizational skills
