Organizationally, UWF consists of five units: the Operations group includes, Maintenance & Construction (buildings and grounds), Building Services (custodial and waste management/ recycling), Transportation Services, and Regulated Materials delivering services primarily on the Seattle Campus; the Asset Management group includes Project Delivery Group (PDG), Engineering Services, Campus Architecture and Planning, and Sustainability throughout the UW enterprise; the Campus Utilities & Operation, Human Resources, Finance, Business Intelligence & Information Technology group, Communications, and Safety report directly to the head of Facilities. Direct engineering support for campus operations and maintenance; provide solutions to operational and maintenance issues; identify opportunities for life-cycle cost optimization and operational efficiency; coordinate facility and utility renewal efforts; support utility and power plant operations; and oversee engineering accountability programs.
