Cultivates and maintains landscape planting areas, prepares and plants new areas, assists in the production of wildlife habitat and food crops, applies fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides, installs wildlife nesting boxes and protective devices, plants trees, cuts and removes undesirable undergrowth and weed trees or other similar tasks involved in forestry improvement programs, erects posts and signage. Cleans, maintains, and repairs potable and non potable water and sewer systems (including checking and refilling chlorination equipment), removes trash and debris; sweeps, mops, cleans and maintains visitor buildings, toilet and shower buildings, restroom facilities, educational centers, and maintenance shops, replaces filters and lamps as necessary.
