The shift for this opening is Friday - Monday; 6:00am - 4:30pm. As an incentive to work this schedule, there is a 12% weekend shift differential on top of base wage compensation. Job SummaryThe Facility Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the facility and its systems. This role involves performing basic maintenance tasks, responding to service requests, and supporting the overall maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions<ul><li>Assist in the maintenance and repair of building and mechanical systems.</li><li>Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities.</li><li>Respond to maintenance requests from staff and complete general repairs.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively.</li><li>Maintain the company's facilities and equipment to include general building care, recycling, snow removal, yard care, etc.</li><li>General carpentry, painting, sheetrock, staining, repairing doors, and setup/remodel of work areas etc..</li><li>Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the facilities.</li><li>Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular hours as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants and property.</li><li>Assist in setup and teardown for events and facility-related activities.</li><li>Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor/Facility Manager.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.</li><li>Participate in training programs to enhance maintenance skills and knowledge.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.</li></ul>QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
