Preventative maintenance and repairs on building equipment including HVAC systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, motors, compressors, and kitchen equipment.

Maintenance technician***Applicants must be physically located in Bismarck, ND.***Job Summary: Our Maintenance Technician is tasked with repairing a variety of kitchen equipment, managing HVAC systems to guarantee functionality, and to participate in general upkeep of a commercial facility. This position reports to the Director of Facilities and Construction.The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with specialty knowledge in either HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and/or Plumbing.  As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Preventative maintenance and repairs on building equipment including HVAC systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, motors, compressors, and kitchen equipment</li><li>Mechanical equipment repair, oil, greasing, belt replacing, and general cleaning of equipment</li><li>Lifting Objects heavier than 40 lbs.</li><li>Understanding of technology-based systems and the ability to navigate these systems, such as email, Microsoft office, and apps that merge these systems to your smart phone</li><li>Driving from Restaurant to Restaurant and may at times include overnight travel</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Valid driver’s license – good driving record and current auto insurance with a reliable vehicle (auto expense reimbursement program in place)</li><li>Have general facilities maintenance knowledge and skills</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively written and orally</li><li>Sound decision making and problem-solving skills</li><li>HVAC certification preferred</li><li>Will and Can-do Attitude</li><li>Self-Motivated</li></ul>Every day, more than 11 million guests visit BURGER KING® restaurants around the world. The Assistant Manager (AM) is the operations leader of the restaurant focused on profitability, Guest service, people development, and operations management.
