The incumbent supervises and leads six Emergency Management personnel while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force (DAF), contract, and installation-specific requirements related to emergency preparedness, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) defense, contingency operations, readiness reporting, training management, deployment preparedness, and disaster response operations. While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell.
