Perform duties IAW AFI 23-101 including, but not limited to maintaining required training, managing assets under their control, performing inventory inspection, submitting allowance change requests, validating authorizations, reporting excess authorizations, ensuring items are on-hand and serviceability/condition is properly recorded, identifying critical requirements through functional area managers, and conducting annual floor-to-book and book-to-floor inventory of assigned equipment account. The Weapons Superiority Program office manages a portfolio, consisting of both Air-to-Air Missiles and Specialized Management Programs developing, producing, and sustaining our nation's warfighters and foreign military customers as well as advanced, high-impact, highly classified armament technologies and capabilities to meet joint Air Force and Navy warfighter requirements.
