Lead and support the daily work of the facilities maintenance team • Help prioritize preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities • Troubleshoot building and equipment issues and help drive practical solutions • Support the reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, emergency power, and related building systems • Monitor work orders, preventive maintenance completion, and equipment performance • Coordinate day-to-day work with vendors, contractors, and service providers • Help assign work, develop & coach employees, and hold the team accountable for safety, quality, and follow-through • Partner with the Director of Facilities & Plant Operations on staffing, projects, priorities, and operational needs • Identify recurring equipment issues and opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency • Maintain a strong safety mindset and support hospital operations in a professional and responsive manner. Solid experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or building systems • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems • Experience troubleshooting equipment and maintenance problems • Preventive maintenance and work-order experience • Some supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience • Ability to coach, organize, and support a skilled maintenance team • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment • Healthcare or hospital experience is a plus, but not required • Technical trade experience or certifications are a plus!
