Selects, manages and works jointly with engineering or construction personnel in performing building structural, plant process, or other construction projects to make sure they conform to specifications and code requirements that necessary permits have been obtained, proper materials are on hand, and that projects proceed on schedule; coordinates scheduling of and supervises work activities of contractors performing approved capital projects for the company; evaluates contractor work, sets expectations with contractor for safety performance, and ensures security of confidential information. This position requires considerable interaction with plant union employees, leadership team, engineering, corporate functional leadership, external support, and contractors .
