Based in Colorado Springs, where most assigned facility clearances are located, the FSO maintains facility-clearance eligibility, protects classified information, manages personnel security and agency reporting, and serves as the primary interface with DCSA, DOE/NNSA security organizations, government customers, and internal leadership. Manage the end-to-end personnel security lifecycle, including clearance verification, relationship or ownership actions, investigation initiation, fingerprint coordination, questionnaire review, status monitoring, eligibility and access updates, indoctrination, briefings, debriefings, visit requests, and access removal.
