Cares for a high acuity OB population including hypertension, C-sections (33% rate), preterm labor, insulin drips, vaginal deliveries, epidurals, inductions, PROM, multiple births, and postpartum hemorrhage. Supported by unit staff including CNAs, LPN scrub techs (NRP certified), receptionist/HUC, a free-floating charge nurse, 24/7 respiratory therapy, and 24/7 laborist coverage.
