The program provides direct evidenced based clinical care to elementary and middle school children on site at a participating local public school; conducts diagnostic/intake evaluations and individual, family and group psychotherapy with children and their parents; also provides teacher and school consultation, behavioral intervention in the classroom/school and help families navigate the board of education system. The School-Based Mental Health program is an energetic and thriving multidisciplinary clinical team of psychiatrists, clinical social workers, psychologists, and allied professionals embedded in the outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry services.
