Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as: assists with identifying gender, catching, scanning wing band number, and audit market birds for wing bands; assists in set-up for selection by loading empty coops into house, placing catch frames in pens for easier bird access, hanging lights for better visual, set-up of scales and scanner, making coop labels, placing coops in pens and running needed cords; properly euthanizes weak, ill and injured birds in accordance with company policy, properly disposing of euthanized birds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand the majority of the shift on multiple floor surfaces (concrete floor, shavings, etc.); walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climbing or stepping over; balance; stoop/bend repeatedly; talk and hear; drive a vehicle or back a trailer within the farm complex.
