Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration, or closely related field; plus a minimum of five (5) years of Accounting, Finance, and/or budgeting analysis, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position OR a combination of equivalent education and experience for a total of nine (9) years. The Senior Financial Analyst has responsibility for the overall supervision of the Department’s general fund and grant budgets including planning for needs (forecasting), developing and preparing budgets, analyzing expenditures, preparing periodic fiscal reports, grants and grant proposals, in addition to performing duties related to fiscal management.
