Review and analyze grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements to prepare, process, and approve all sponsored projects accounts and budget authorizations, which include new awards, continuations, transfer-funds, supplements, modifications, no-cost extensions, re-budgeting, and carryovers; Review award documents for accuracy and consistency with proposal applications and with sponsor and institutional policies and regulations; Ensure compliance with award regulatory terms and University policies, such as conflicts of interest, human subjects & IACUC approvals; Process awarded information into SPA's grants management system (InfoEd) for project creation and/or modifications; Review and reconcile data fed from the grants management system (InfoEd) into the University's financial system (ARC) to ensure accuracy. Demonstrated knowledge of research administration/grants management and accounting processes required; Experience with financial reporting of sponsored projects; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; Ability to communicate positively and effectively with sponsoring and regulatory agencies, as well as faculty, administrators, and other members of the University is important.
