<p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br/>We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and restoration. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on various construction projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and set up work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safety measures are in place.</li><li>Operate concrete mixers and other power tools to mix and pour concrete.</li><li>Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks according to project specifications.</li><li>Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed for structural integrity.</li><li>Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and dimensions.</li><li>Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently.</li><li>Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, ensuring timely project completion.</li><li>Conduct heavy lifting as required for material handling and installation tasks.</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment by following proper disposal methods for waste materials.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction processes.</li><li>Proficiency in construction estimating and planning for materials needed.</li><li>Experience with hardscape installation, including patios and walkways.</li><li>Familiarity with various concrete finishing techniques and equipment operation.</li><li>Knowledge of carpentry, including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.</li><li>Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and flooring installation.</li><li>Competence in tile laying and caulking for seamless finishes.</li><li>Experience with renovation projects that require attention to detail in restoration work.</li><li>Capability of operating heavy equipment safely on construction sites. <h3 style="text-align:justify"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h3><p>Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is looking for experienced Concrete Finishers for our Heavy Highway and Commercial divisions. Concrete Finishers will work as a team to perform a variety of concrete finishing duties including curb-building by hand, mopping, straight edging, edging, brooming, shoveling concrete, forming and grading.</p><h3> </h3><h3><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></h3><ul><li>Spread, smooth, level and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs.</li><li>Hand build curbs with great attention to detail.</li><li>Help assist other crew members when needed.</li><li>Use and operate all tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Always maintain jobsite clear from clutter and garbage.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Follow all safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate safety equipment and using excellent safety practices while visiting job sites per CTI policies, OSHA, and Federal and State laws and regulations.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned. </li></ul><p> </p><h3><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Proficient curb builder highly preferred!</strong></li><li>2-3+ years' heavy highway or commercial concrete finishing experience required. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours M-F with some Saturdays.</li><li>Work well under time constraints, and respond positively to change.</li><li>Must be able to maintain a high level of work quality.<u></u></li><li>Work well in a team environment.</li><li>Professional, friendly, possesses a positive attitude, self-motivated, and proactive.</li><li>Must pass post-conditional offer of employment physical.</li></ul><p> </p><h3><strong>About Us:</strong></h3><div>In 2001, Concrete Technologies, Inc.
