We are seeking individuals who will be operating a Lapping Machine to remove material from gage blocks, measure gages during the manufacturing process, and accurately follow the required processes. <p><strong>We are seeking individuals who will be operating a Lapping Machine to remove material from gage blocks, measure gages during the manufacturing process, and accurately follow the required processes.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.</strong> </p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Set up and operate Lapping Machines to complete each step of the manufacturing plan</strong></li><li><strong>Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping</strong></li><li><strong>Verify the gage with precision and measuring tools</strong></li><li><strong>Continually monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature, and identify issues</strong></li><li><strong>Check parts to ensure machine-related mistakes or flaws do not exist</strong></li><li><strong>Collaborate with your co-workers and supervisor to problem solve and meet deadlines</strong></li><li><strong>Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and the machines</strong></li><li><strong>Meet the daily job assignment set by Production Supervisor, and consistently produce high-quality work</strong></li><li><strong>Listen and follow through with instructions</strong></li><li><strong>Take personal ownership to work safely in every aspect, following both established and “common sense” safety rules</strong></li><li><strong>Follow Company Office Rules, policies, safe work practices and procedures that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws</strong></li><li><strong>Perform all other duties assigned</strong></li></ul>
