As a member of the Facilities Operation, and under the direction of the Supervisor of Life Safety Inspection & Testing, and working collaboratively with other University departments, the Site Protection Technician is responsible for the comprehensive inspection, testing, and related repairs to the University's Life Safety System, including but not limited to fire, sprinkler, standpipe systems, fire pumps, and emergency broadcast towers, kitchen hood systems, special hazard systems, and fire extinguishers.
