Work Environment: Work is performed both in an office and outside where there may be exposure to computer screen for extended periods, dust, fumes/airborne particles, fuels, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, outdoor weather conditions, chemicals/hazardous waste, blood-borne pathogens, electrical hazards, inadequate lighting, confined spaces, uneven terrain or other conditions typically found at active maintenance or construction sites. Manages all aspects of maintenance services, through subordinate supervisors, related to parks and recreation buildings/facilities including but not limited to general repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, aquatic maintenance, playground maintenance, and vehicle/equipment maintenance.
