Responsibilities: Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of clinical competency, will be able to perform the following functions in Emergency Departments when approved by and under the supervision of the Emergency Services Medical Director: Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IV Placement, Intraosseous (IO) placement, Insertion of Nasogastric Tube, Triage (all aspects except Acuity Level Designation), IV Fluid Administration, Medication Administration (limited), Operation of IV infusion device (IV pump).Assists with keeping department areas clean, stocked, and orderly.
