The two (2) years of experience must include two (2) years of experience: 1) Working with industrial combustion systems, including fuel/air balance, flame control, and heat transfer principles; 2) Preparing reports related to furnace operations, including reviewing operational data, identifying performance issues and taking corrective actions; 3) Supporting preventative maintenance activities, including inspections and safety practices for furnace and combustion equipment, and evaluating furnace melting quality; and 4) Establis)hing, monitoring and adjusting furnace load limits to balance maximum pull and maximum furnace life. Must have Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of experience in a glass container manufacturing facility as an Industrial Engineer, Batch & Furnace Engineer, or related occupation.
