Valid Driver's License (Georgia DOT paving experience a plus!); Able to pass a Drug Test; Must pass DOT Physical; Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills and attributes; Thorough knowledge of milling operations and equipment; Coordinate with Estimator/Project Manager to ensure job is being built as planned by overseeing quality of job and production costs; Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently; Must be able to work nights, weekends and travel when required; Must have a minimum of 3+ years experience with the materials, methods, maintenance and operations of equipment associated with asphalt milling; Able to stand, sit, kneel, walk, talk, see, hear, push, pull, climb, bend and stoop. Will direct, coordinate and budget activities concerned with road surfacing aspects of the construction project; Coordinate with the Milling Superintendent to develop best means and methods on job production goals, labor and materials, scheduling, safety and quality; Meet with Milling Superintendent to review status of project(s), set production goals, update job progress and addressing issues (existing and potential) impacting production; Ensure thorough understanding of job objectives to effectively direct crew in job tasks and activities required to meet daily goals.
