Whether you have 6 months or 5 years of experience, Mindak has a place for you. This is an opportunity to grow your carpentry skills, work with experienced crews, and build a rewarding long-term career.As an Install Commercial Framer, you'll work on installing prefabricated wall panels and performing rough framing for commercial buildings, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every project. This is a full-time, hands-on role with advancement opportunities, training, and year-round work. <h2>Major Expectations & Accountabilities</h2><ul><li>Perform rough framing of commercial buildings according to project plans and specifications.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy in framing layout and installation.</li><li>Safely use nail guns, saws, and other power tools to complete assigned tasks.</li><li>Install temporary supports and framing components as needed.</li><li>Ensure all materials are properly placed and secured.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and Mindak policies.</li><li>Collaborate with crew members and be willing to assist where needed.</li></ul>  <h2>Schedule & Pay</h2><ul><li>Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (weekends optional)</li><li>40–50 hours per week with overtime pay</li><li>Paid weekly</li><li>$18–$30 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)</li><li>All tools and training provided</li><li>Year-round work</li><li>Opportunities for advancement and leadership growth</li></ul>  <h2>What You'll Need to Be Successful</h2><ul><li>A strong work ethic and positive attitude.</li><li>Basic understanding of carpentry tools and measurements.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.</li><li>Commitment to job site safety and team collaboration.</li><li>Desire to learn and grow in the commercial construction trade.</li></ul> <h2>Minimum Requirements</h2><ul><li>Valid U.S. driver's license</li><li>Some carpentry or framing experience preferred (we will train the right candidate!)</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active role.</li><li>Reliable transportation to job sites.</li></ul> <h2>Benefits</h2>At Mindak Construction, we believe investing in our people is the key to building lasting success-on and off the job site. As a Framer, you will be reading blueprints or building plans and constructing the framework specified using a variety of tools and materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site, maintaining the tools and equipment you use every day, and following standard safety protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. We are looking for people experienced Forman and lead framers we build mostly Dr. Horton homes that are panelized.   Responsibilities  <ul><li>Examine, read, and interpret blueprints and building plans to ensure all dimensions are accurate and the proper building materials are being used</li><li>Ability to safely operate construction tools like nail guns, routers, saws, and ladders</li><li>Construct framework including walls, doorframes, and floors</li><li>Utilize tools such as rigging hardware and cranes to put up the necessary framing</li><li>Clean and maintain tools, work site, and equipment to keep a clean and safe job site</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>The ability to work well in a team environment</li><li>The ability to read and understand blueprints or building plans</li><li>Previous experience as a framer or in a similar construction position desired</li><li>The ability to work on your feet and regularly lift heavy or awkward objects</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>On time each day </li></ul>
