The Gate Clerk is the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a customer facility. This position may work a rotating shift.  Responsibilities<ul><li>Process Inbound and Outbound loads.   </li><li>Checking in and maintaining security with outside careers   </li><li>Performing yard audits as needed    </li><li>Keep accurate record of all inbound and outbound trailers.  </li><li>Check seals and numbers on all inbound and outbound trails.  </li><li>Security-adjacent tasks such as gate management and perimeter reporting  </li><li>Prioritize and process both Inbound and Outbound paperwork and BOLs (Bill of Lading)   </li><li>Assist in maintaining consistent flow of freight for timely outbound/inbound processing.  </li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>The ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment. </li><li>Ability to Multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.  </li><li>⁠Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to compile and record data in an efficient and accurate manner</li><li>Have knowledge of customer and company requirements regarding shipping and receiving </li></ul>Education/Experience<ul><li>High school Diploma or Equivalent </li><li>2+ years’ experience in an administrative capacity preferred</li><li>2+ Years Customer Service Experience preferred.</li><li>HighJump WMS experience is preferred but not required. </li><li>Transportation or warehouse experience preferred</li></ul>Competitive CompensationWe believe in rewarding excellence.
