Definition Under direction of the County Park Superintendent, assists in the administration of a comprehensive maintenance and development program for a geographical division of a large park system or a small or medium sized park system including parks and/or reservations, assists in the direction of employees engaged in carrying out maintenance programs, assists in the preparation of budget requests and assists in the administration of an approved budget, assists in the development and submission of plans for park rehabilitation and improvement as directed; does related work as required. Education Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major course of study in horticulture, forestry, civil engineering, landscape architecture, park planning, park management, forest recreation management, conservation, natural resource management, earth sciences or environmental sciences.
