Job Title Student Worker: HRMGT- Front Office Assistant Agency East Texas A&M University Department Human Resources Proposed Minimum Salary $7.25 hourly Job Location Commerce, Texas Job Type Student Worker Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with answering telephones, faxing, filing correspondence, and running errands on campus. • Greet office guests, answer questions and direct to the proper individual(s). • Schedule appointments. • Maintain documents and spreadsheets. • Collaborate and communicate with supervisor. • Increase skill set by participating in various projects with staff. • Ability to work with frequent interruptions. • Assists new employees with I-9 and new hire onboarding completion. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Education: Must be an active student for East Texas A&M University. Student can be at an undergrad or graduate level. • Knowledge / Skills: Punctual. Good computer skills (list programs your department uses, for example, Microsoft Word or Excel). • Ability to: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
