Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students pre-K to 12 for illness or injury during the school day; Work collaboratively with health care providers, students, parents, faculty/staff, and community agencies to ensure access and continuity of care for students; Serve as a primary point of contact for families regarding student health concerns, care plans, and required medical documentation; Maintain the upkeep of the Wellness center, including inventory and ordering of supplies; Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including student health histories; immunizations, and injury documentation, utilizing the school's electronic health record system (Magnus Health); Supervise and update the school's medication policy, administering medication of various sorts, including inhalers and oral medication, in accordance with RN licensure, physicians' orders, and school policy; Monitor and manage communicable diseases and health-related absences; Collaborate with the Wellness team to develop procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or another related field; RN licensed in Pennsylvania; First Aid and CPR Certification; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work independently or in a group setting; Proficiency with Google Suites; A commitment to creating and supporting an inclusive community; and.
