DescriptionThe Safety Manager will:Perform daily safety inspections on an active industrial construction site; document and report findings using company safety platforms. Ensure compliance with company's safety policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety plans by all workers and subcontractors. Conduct and document daily pre-task safety meetings and ensure completion of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) or DAHA forms. Monitor high-risk activities including heat work, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, crane lifts, elevated work, and excavation. Oversee proper PPE use and promote safe work practices throughout the jobsite, especially in high-hazard industrial environments. Lead safety meetings or stand-downs as needed to address critical issues or reinforce important safety messages. Coordinate with construction management, subcontractors, and outside safety entities to foster a proactive and engaged safety culture. Manage and maintain QR code-based safety systems, including SDS access, emergency contacts, rally points, and digital safety forms. Participate in and support incident investigations, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up with the Safety Director.
