DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Comprehensive Stroke Center at Harborview Medical Center is a Joint Commission-certified and Washington State-designated Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing high-acuity, evidence-based care to stroke patients across the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho). Our multidisciplinary team of the stroke center is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in stroke care, innovation, and health equity-delivering coordinated, person-centered services across the care continuum through inpatient, outpatient, and Telestroke partnerships.
