Because this is a remote telehealth position, Trauma Therapists are expected to maintain home computer and video technology that is HIPAA-compliant and to provide telehealth treatment from private, professional-appearing, HIPAA-compliant workspace (no stock backgrounds are permitted). The Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC) is the only New York State-licensed Article 31 outpatient clinic in New York that specializes, exclusively, in the trauma-focused treatment of child and adult survivors of interpersonal violence and other forms of abuse.
