Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, welcoming new patients through specific admission protocols; assisting with the patient discharge process; maintaining direct patient observation; lead patient education, community, goal, and activity groups; assist nursing staff by taking vital signs and help patients perform ADL's.
