Strips, seals, waxes and buffs floor surfaces and performs daily floor maintenance; cleans and shampoos carpets; • May clean common areas, including public restrooms, elevators, offices, public rooms, beauty salon, resident and employee lounges; dusts, sanitizes and scrubs; • Empties trash receptacles; may deposit recyclable material in proper receptacles; picks up trash and keeps exterior perimeter clean; • Takes note of safety concerns and needed repairs; performs repairs or reports to supervisor; • Pushes a utility cart or drives an electric cart in order to transport tools, materials, supplies and equipment; may assist residents with moving; • Cleans and washes wheelchairs and furniture; • Cleans or picks-up accidents in interior or building; • May fix drapery rods and/or wash windows, depending on CCRC; • Perform event set-ups and tear-downs. • Conducts work tasks safely and in compliance with the facility safety program; • Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guests and co-workers; • Promotes and protects the rights of each resident; • Performs other related work as required.
