Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSchedules production effectively by facility by analyzing and using multiple data sources to develop strategic and tactical plans for work flowStrives to level load production schedules to ensure efficient and cost effective productionRecommends labor levels for efficient production and on-time deliveryReacts and reschedules production when needed to accommodate unexpected situationsMonitors, analyzes and reports production performance for OperationsDetermines product delivery dates based on material availability and labor capacityUpdates master production schedule to reflect correct completion datesRevises production schedules when required due to labor or material shortagesRecommends labor and machine requirements to meet short and long term production schedulesReleases work for production per scheduleEnsures appropriate inventory for efficient productionMonitors shipping risks and opportunitiesIdentifies, recommends and takes corrective actions to solve production issuesPerforms other tasks as assigned by supervisorJob RequirementsMinimum 1 to 3 years successful production planning and/or materials management experienceBachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related disciplineAPICS or ISM Certification, preferredLean manufacturing experienceDemonstrated knowledge of inventory controlDemonstrated analytical abilityExperience with ERP/MRP SystemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, highly proficient in ExcelAbility to work in a highly energetic, constantly changing, data driven environmentAbout our CompanyAmphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is an industry leader in providing high-reliability electronic systems for Aerospace and Defense companies across the globe.
