You'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals to create beautiful hardscapes that enhance outdoor living spaces. If you have a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to grow with a company that values your contributions, this position is perfect for you.</p><p style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Responsibilities:</p><ul><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other softscape elements according to design plans.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Soil preparation, mulching, and irrigation system installation.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Pruning, trimming, and maintaining plants to ensure their health and aesthetics.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.</li><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a professional manner.</li></ul><p style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Qualifications:</p><ul><li style="font-family:'calibri';font-size:11pt">Previous experience in landscaping or hardscape installation is a plus but not required. They manage on-site crews, ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, and maintain quality and safety standards. This role also involves communicating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all aspects of the project align with design specifications and company expectations. </p><ul><li>Crew Coordination: Schedule and manage landscape construction crews weekly, working closely with the Production Manager. </li><li>Project Oversight: Provide directions, design plans, job details, and schedules to crews and subcontractors. </li><li>Site Management: Visit job sites regularly to ensure that crews have the information needed to complete tasks; coordinate with job site supervisors. </li><li>Material Scheduling: Review construction plans and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites; coordinate with the Administrative Assistant for Diggers Hotline requests. </li><li>Paperwork and Documentation: Ensure completion of all necessary paperwork, including daily load slips, delivery forms, and other documentation. </li><li>Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and employees. </li><li>Safety Leadership: Model and promote safe work habits, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. </li><li>Team Leadership: Supervise crew leaders and landscape employees, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include training, setting expectations, approving employee time, hiring, reviews, coaching, and discipline. </li><li>Billing: Review and price monthly applications for billing purposes. </li></ul><h5>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements </h5><ul><li>Standing/Walking: Stands and walks for long periods throughout the day. </li><li>Lifting: Frequently lifts weights of up to 50 pounds; occasional squatting, kneeling, and lifting objects from the ground. </li><li>Reach: Full extension of arms above head and in front of the body is required. </li></ul><h5>Schedule </h5><ul><li>Peak Season: Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm (50-60 hours per week) from April to November.
