EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, Arts Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the performing arts, live entertainment, venue management, or a related industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. The General Manager will map out a fair and thoughtful division of labor between themselves, the AGM and the Production Manager to co-manage tasks such as onboarding Cain Park hires, working with multiple City departments, processing invoices and purchase orders and management of part time and seasonal staff to ensure effective year-round management of Cain Park.
