Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities: Certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related degree program 5+ years of GIS related experience preferred Strong proficiency with ArcGIS software or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Familiarity with SQL, Python, or Arcade scripting; knowledge of FME is a plus Strong background in GIS techniques and methods (geoprocessing, spatial analysis, system architecture, data management) Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate from non-technical problem descriptions to technical solutions. Research and integrate new technologies into existing workflows and product stacks, automating workflows wherever possible Troubleshoot technical problems with GIS applications, including ArcGIS and VertiGIS Studio products Publish, configure, and maintain hosted feature layers, web maps, and web mapping applications in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise Support project planning and proposal development, collaborate across teams, and present solutions to clients.
