Education: You must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor''s degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution (a) with major study in an appropriate field of Forestry, range management, agriculture, or a subject-matter field directly related to the position; OR (b) that included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following courses: forestry, agriculture, crop or plant science, range management or conservation, wildlife management, watershed management, soil science, natural resources (except marine fisheries and oceanography), outdoor recreation management, civil or forest engineering, or wildland fire science. To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: Specialized Experience: You must have at least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in private or public sector) performing the following: (1) serve as crew lead for rangeland specific projects; (2) monitor rangeland vegetation for utilization; (3) plan and conduct range use supervision and allotment inspections for conformance to specifications; (4) provide assistance in organizing and documenting grazing administration files.
