This role is done in all environments and weather conditions while requiring frequent climbing, lifting, and working on uneven terrain.<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Perform thorough DOT pre and post trip inspections, including raising and lowering the hood.</li><li>Review delivery tickets for every load to ensure accurate product and location.</li><li>Drive to job sites, unload concrete, and return to the yard multiple times per day.</li><li>Communicate professionally with customers and the ready-mix dispatch team.</li><li>Maintain a clean truck, including washing out the drum after unloading each time.</li></ul><h2>CDL Driver Qualifications:</h2><ul><li>Be at least 19 years old</li><li>Possess a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement</li><li>Possess and maintain a clean driving record</li></ul><h2>About Shelby Materials:</h2>Shelby Materials delivers high-quality concrete, on-time and in-spec, to a wide variety of customers and jobs.Founded on Veterans Day in 1951, Shelby Materials is based in Shelbyville, Indiana, and has 12 locations serving Central Indiana.
