Working knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and devices, including the ability to support their implementation, facilitate student use across educational settings, and collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to promote effective communication and student independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to identify student needs, implement effective communication strategies, and support meaningful participation in the educational environment and progress toward individualized goals and objectives outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
