<div>At Absolute Auto, Port Matilda we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent automotive trade school graduates or individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude looking to start a career in the automotive repair industry. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learning diagnostic and repair skills on a variety of vehicle systems. Requirements: Must have some auto repair knowledge. Can read and write. Able to perform simple tasks. Must have driver's license. Key Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>Keep the shop clean and organized, handle inventory and stock orders. Floor cleaning and sweeping.</li><li>Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, fluid checks, battery replacements, and filter replacements.</li><li>Assist technicians with more complex repairs such as brake jobs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics.</li><li>Learn to use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace.</li><li>Complete multi-point vehicle inspections under supervision.</li><li>Follow shop safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Communicate clearly with team members and service staff.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and development programs.</li></ul><div> Qualifications:</div><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Completion of or current enrollment in an automotive technology program is a plus.</li><li>Basic understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical principles.</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and good driving record.</li><li>Let us know that your read this whole description by telling us this keyword: Diesel.</li><li>Ability to use basic hand tools (personal toolset preferred but not required).</li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li></ul><div> Call and set up an interview or stop by the shop and fill out an application.</div>

Experience is not necessary because our training is designed to help people do well immediately - as long as someone is willing to learn, they can be successful. We provide flexible schedules for anyone looking to make some extra income. This entry level sales position is a great opportunity for anyone looking for flexible work or summer work. What we offer: <ul><li>Paid weekly - base or commissions. Our reps are paid $24.00 base-appt, that is not based on sales or results. There is an opportunity to make more, but there is still a fallback for the sales rep to make an income even if they have an off week.</li><li>Solid training - we teach our reps how to do well in this role before they start and offer continued support and additional training as time goes on.</li><li>Flexible scheduling - we help our reps create a schedule that works for them. Some work as much as possible while others choose to be super part time around other commitments such as classes or their full time jobs.
