Provide leadership and knowledge of the graduate mechanical and aerospace engineering programs in order to ensure graduate students have accurate and updated information needed to successfully orchestrate their graduate program as well as enabling faculty to recruit, retain, and support their graduate students by performing all of the following responsibilities, especially assist and process graduate student personnel action forms and associated HR-related paperwork so the graduate students receive their stipends/salary per the offer letter or faculty requests. Communicate with graduate students in person, electronically, and in writing to keep them aware of the deadlines and criteria they need to successfully complete their degrees and workshops they need to attend, as well as to obtain necessary signatures (on various forms, including electronic effort verification reports).
