We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to contribute to our Municipal Infrastructure / Water & Wastewater projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Winter Haven, FL . Primary Responsibilities: <ul><li> Contribute to the planning, modeling, analysis, and design of public works infrastructure projects with a focus on wet utilities (e.g.: wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & facilities, water and wastewater treatment, master planning, etc.). </li><li> Prepare construction drawings and permit applications; this involves coordinating design activities with other design disciplines, researching materials & equipment, and providing support to colleagues in the water/wastewater and municipal market sectors. </li><li> Contribute to planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight of projects. </li><li> Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed. </li></ul> Basic Requirements: <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably a BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering); recent graduates are encouraged to apply! </li><li> FE / EIT (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully complete their FE within 6 months of their start date). </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li> 0.5 to 5 years engineering and/or intern experience preferred. </li><li> Proficiency with engineering tools, experience with (AutoCAD Civil 3D, OpenFlows WaterCAD and WaterGEMS) is a plus! </li><li> Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook). </li><li> Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude. </li><li> Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments. </li><li> Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). </li></ul> Why Pennoni?
