Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Enrollment, the Director of Recruitment and Special Programs primary responsibility is to supervise, develop, coordinate, implement and oversee vital comprehensive recruitment programs and initiatives to meet the university FTE goals and specific targets set by academic schools and colleges, and partnership programs such as Bulldog Bound, Bulldog Bound Transfer, High School Ambassador Program, Campus Tours Program, Academic School Recruitment program, and the coordination of recruitment events. The Director leads the team of Recruitment Counselors and has oversight of the federally funded TRIO Programs: Upward Bound Programs, Educational Talent Search-Fresno, Educational Talent Search-Porterville, Educational Opportunity Center, and the state-funded Cal-SOAP Program.
