Expected skills include PIV insertion, chest tube and indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, ostomy care, blood product administration, telemetry interpretation, wound care (packing, wound vacs, dressing changes), and pre/post heart cath care (Fem./TR bands, no interventions). Unit Details: Post-surgical patient population including Whipple, vascular, pre/post heart cath, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open abdomen, dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, fall-risk, and thyroid surgery patients.
