Responsibilities -Plan and deliver engaging health education instruction aligned with Massachusetts Health Curriculum Frameworks -Teach topics including personal wellness, nutrition, mental and emotional health, substance abuse prevention, healthy relationships, decision-making, and personal safety -Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion -Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and educational technology to support student learning and engagement -Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners -Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families -Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, nurses, and administrators to support student well-being -Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives -Serve as a positive role model and promote healthy lifestyle choices among students. The successful candidate will promote student wellness and healthy decision-making by providing engaging, developmentally appropriate health education instruction in a supportive middle school environment.
