p>The successful candidate will: - Teach courses consistent with programmatic and departmental needs;
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues in curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement within Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)-accredited programs;
- Engage in scholarly activity and/or research consistent with expectations for a tenure-track appointment;
- Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students;
- Participate in student recruitment, engagement, retention, and success initiatives;
- Participate in university, college, department, and professional service activities consistent with shared governance expectations;
- Maintain clinical and professional expertise relevant to assigned teaching responsibilities;
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical and community partners;
- Pursue interdisciplinary teaching, scholarship, and community engagement opportunities as appropriate;
- Provide clinical supervision and evaluation of students in healthcare and community-based clinical settings;
- Teach and support student learning in simulation, laboratory, and clinical learning environments;
- Mentor and support graduate students in scholarly projects, evidence-based practice initiatives, and/or doctoral-level academic work consistent with program needs;
- Contribute to innovative academic, clinical, simulation, rural health, global learning, and community partnership initiatives. Opportunities exist for faculty and students to collaborate in faculty-mentored scholarly projects, simulation and clinical learning experiences, intercultural immersion opportunities, community-engaged partnerships, and innovative healthcare initiatives.
