A Registered Nurse who excels in this role performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs, initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings, provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care, completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record, and develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient. The OR team handles a wide array of specialties, including orthopedic and orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, podiatry, spine procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, trauma, and urology.
