Join the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit at Methodist Hospital, a 32-bed unit dedicated to providing Age-Friendly care to patients 65+ years old with a variety of medical conditions, including dehydration, cellulitis, UTIs, altered mental status, hospice care, pain management, suicidal ideation, alcohol withdrawal, dementia, delirium, diabetes, GI bleeds, COPD, and pneumonia. It’s helping families grow by making each delivery special, conveying a difficult diagnosis with a compassionate touch, going above and beyond for a patient’s needs, or giving a high five when a patient beats a disease or conquers a personal health challenge.
