p style="margin:0px">Join the exceptional Beacon Award Winning Nursing team on MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Solid Organ Transplant & Hepatology Intermediate Care Unit (S42) in the recently opened Verstandig Pavilion, situated on Georgetown University's campus. Clinical Nurses on S42 provide expert care to acutely ill adults that are waiting for or have recently received a solid organ transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas, intestine) or have undergone other hepatobiliary surgeries (TACE, liver resection, Whipple).

li>Partnering with clinical leaders to monitor and analyze clinical trends in their respective neighborhoods to include wound management, infection prevention & control, falls management, restraint/mobility device management, weight & nutrition management, anti-psychotic management, re-hospitalization /ER Transfer rates, etc.

Must have national accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC)or be committed to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire (For those hired with wound certification, completion of a fast-track hybrid program for regulatory wound care requirements will be provided) . li>Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
